KABUL: The officials of the Afghanistan National Standard Authority (ANSA) said that 7,380,572 tons of construction materials have been imported into the country through ports in the past one year.
The officials of the ANSA on Wednesday, during a press conference at the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC) sharing the authority’s achievement said that among these 152 types of construction materials were identified as non-standard and returned.
Meanwhile, the National Standard Authority announced that over 3,787,000 tons of petroleum products, liquefied gas, and derivatives have also been imported in the past year.
They emphasized that 128,811 tons of petroleum and liquefied gas were found to be non-compliant with accepted standards.
