KABUL: The Afghanistan National Futsal Team won a bronze medal, and earned third place in the Continental Futsal Championship (CFC) on Saturday.
Hosted by Thailand, the tournament featured teams from Afghanistan, Thailand, Guatemala, Kuwait and New Zealand, the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) wrote on its Facebook page.
The Afghanistan futsal team, in their matches, defeated Guatemala and New Zealand but lost to Kuwait and Thailand.
In the competitions, Thailand won the first title, Guatemala finished second and Afghanistan won third place.
