KUALA LUMPUR: The Afghan Ambassador to Malaysia Naqibullah Ahmadi and the first political chief of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mufti Noor Ahmad Noor, met with the Minister of Religious Affairs of Malaysia, Dr. Dato’ Muhammad Naeem bin Mukhtar, the embassy said in a statement.
According to the statement, both sides discussed a number of issues in the meeting, including the latest security, political, and economic situation in Afghanistan.
Dr. Dato’ Muhammad Naeem Mukhtar called the relationship between Malaysia and Afghanistan very important.
Meanwhile, Mufti Noor Ahmad Noor expressed his pleasure over the close relations between Malaysia and Afghanistan and thanked him [Malaysian Minister] for the good interaction and cooperation.
