KABUL: The General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports said that the Kam Air volleyball team has won first place in the Asian Club Championship, according to a statement from the department.
According to the statement, Kam Air by defeating the Gas Al-Janoub team from Iraq, with a score of 3-0, won first place.
Previously, the Kam Air volleyball team had faced defeats against Qatar and Sear Jan Follad teams in the group games.
Hamid Mohammadi, the head coach of the national volleyball team, stated that the Afghan players delivered a commendable performance and emphasized the need for more support to enhance their progress.
