KABUL: A water supply network worth 6 million Afghanis (some 85,644 US dollars) has been inaugurated in Logar, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement.
The water supply project, with the financial support of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), has been constructed in Momand village, Baraki Barak district of Logar province, according to the statement.
With the completion of the project, safe drinking water provided to 433 families said the statement, adding that, currently, dozens of development projects are underway across the country.
