KABUL: The police personnel of the Kapisa province discovered and seized a heavy number of weapons and ammunitions, the Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement today.
According to the statement, the security personnel of Kapisa conducting operations in the center and districts of the province discovered and seized weapons and ammunition including 76 Kalashnikovs, 33 handguns, five heavy weapons, 18 anti-personnel mines, and more than 8,000 rounds of various types of bullets.
Also, 30 individuals have been arrested in connection with the case, said the statement.
