KABUL: As many as 37 scientific research projects have been completed in the past year and 208 others are under work.
Dr. Rafiullah Niazi, Secretary of the Academy of Sciences, while sharing the achievements of the past one year, at the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC) said: “This institution has organized 57 conferences and 6 scientific-research seminars.”
He added that 4 academic members of the Afghan Academy of Sciences graduated from masters and doctorate programs and 20 others have been introduced to local and foreign universities to pursue their bachelor, master, and doctorate programs.
He further said that the leadership of the Academy of Sciences, in order to strengthen coordination, visited scientific-research areas and signed cooperation agreements with Russia, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, and China.
