KABUL: As a result of an explosion that took place last night at a coal mine in Tabas, South Khorasan, Iran, 30 miners were killed and 17 others were injured.
According to reports, the reason behind the explosion was gases released in the tunnels.
Iranian officials said that they are investigating the incident, but they also predicted that the number of casualties would increase.
