KABUL: The Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian, in a meeting with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon, discussed issues related to Afghanistan, Iran’s embassy in Dushanbe said in a statement.
In the meeting, the two sides emphasized joint cooperation in solving the problems facing Afghanistan, said the statement.
According to the statement, in the meeting, the two presidents called the issue of Afghanistan a joint issue of Tehran and Dushanbe and emphasized the cooperation of both countries in solving the problems of Afghanistan.
