KABUL: As a result of recent flash floods, 3 people were martyred, 20 wounded and 150 residential houses were completely or partially destroyed in relevant areas of Kozkunar district of Nangarhar province.
The rains, hail, floods and storms of last night also destroyed hundreds of acres of land in Ghaziabad, Janat Khan, Qalatak, Salampor and a number of other areas.
Also, the flash floods smashed and destroyed the Marwarid canal, the water of which damaged the village of “Kohna Deh”.
Meanwhile, the flood-affected people asked the relevant organs to provide them with necessary assistance.
