KABUL: Seven water supply networks worth $400,000 have been inaugurated in Paktika province, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement.
According to the statement, the water supply networks, with the financial support of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), have been implemented in relevant areas of Argon and Yousufkhel districts of Paktika province.
With the completion of the welfare projects, access to safe drinking water has been provided for 2,011 families, said the statement, adding that job opportunities have also been provided for dozens of residents of the districts.
