KABUL: French President Emmanuel Macron, in an interview with France Inter, said that Lebanon must not be changed to another Gaza Strip.
He added that the supply of weapons and military equipment used by the Israeli regime in Gaza must be halted in Lebanon.
“There is a need to return to a political solution today and to stop the delivery of arms for the war in Gaza,” he said as quoted by the France Inter.
He stressed that Paris does not send any weapons to Tel Aviv.
Macron noted that their voices regarding the current situation in Gaza and the Middle East are not being heard.
The French President made this statement on the eve of the first anniversary of the Israeli regime’s attacks on the Gaza Strip.
