Afghanistan soil will not be used against other countries, Fitrat

KABUL: The deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, in a videotape, said today that there is no threat from Afghanistan to other countries.

“There is no foreign group currently active in Afghanistan and the Islamic Emirate does not allow any groups from Afghanistan to threaten the national interest of the other countries,” he said.

Emphasizing that the ISIS phenomenon has been eliminated in Afghanistan, Fitrat said that the security forces of the Islamic Emirate have been making efforts to ensure security in the country and they will not allow any vicious groups to create insecurity in Afghanistan or use the country’s soil against the interest of other countries.

This comes after the head of the British Internal Security Service said the other day that ISIS is trying to attack other countries from Afghanistan.
