KABUL: A contract for the installation of GPS smart locks in vehicles and the expansion of postal codes, during a ceremony has been signed between Emirati agencies today.
Speaking in the ceremony, the head of Emirati companies Mawlavi Ahmad Jan Bilal, stated that the installation of GPS smart locks will help prevent the theft of goods and belongings to traders.
“The locks will enable the identification of a vehicle’s new location if it deviates from its designated route,” he said and announced the creation of a six-digit code by Afghan Post, which has also been approved by the Universal Postal Union.
This code will facilitate the sending of goods and items through Afghan Post, both domestically and internationally.
