KANDAHAR: 196 ancient books and metal artifacts have been discovered and seized in Kandahar.
The head of art and culture of the Kandahar provincial Information and Culture Department Abdul Shokur Chapand, said that these works include 156 new and historical written and printed books and 13 metal works.
The artifacts will be displayed in the museum after registration, identification, and restoration.
