KABUL: The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock said in a statement on Monday that a seasonal products exhibition will be held in the country in just two days.
According to the statement, the exhibition will be held under the theme of “Quality Production – Global Market,” in Badam Bagh area of Kabul, where the farmers and gardeners showcase their products from October 16 to 19.
Hundreds of producers, entrepreneurs, traders, and visitors are expected to participate in the exhibition, said the statement adding that the exhibition will feature a wide range of quality agricultural and livestock products, processed agricultural and livestock goods, agricultural machinery, saffron, medicinal plants, irrigation equipment, fruit and non-fruit saplings, solar power generation devices, and handicrafts.
Previously, in the inauguration of the Imam Abu Hanifa National and International Exhibition in Kabul, Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar emphasized the need for processing and packaging domestic products to compete in global markets.
