Cabinet meeting discussed preventing import of low-quality fuel

KABUL: The eighth cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, with Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, on the chair, was held, according to a statement from Arg on Monday.

The cabinet assigned a committee headed by Mawlavi Shamsuddin Shariati, the General Director of Supervision and Follow-up of Decrees and Orders of the Islamic Emirate, to conduct a comprehensive review regarding the prevention of low-quality fuel imports considering the Economic Commission’s plan and to share their findings with the upcoming cabinet meeting, said the statement.

Also, the cabinet tasked a delegation led by the Ministry of Interior to prepare a plan for the importation and circulation of rickshaws in cities and to report on the outcomes.
