KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi urged people to cooperate with the Afghan Red Crescent Society, according to a statement from Arg on Tuesday.
He made the remarks, today, during the inauguration ceremony of the Special Week of ARCS, which was attended by a number of high-ranking Emirati officials, scholars, and Mujahidin, here in Kabul.
Considering the week as an exceptional opportunity to help and support the needy, homeless and injured people, Hanafi asked all Afghans, particularly the country’s national traders to cooperate with the Afghan Red Crescent Society.
The deputy prime minister stressed that citizens can support the Red Crescent Society by selling tickets or making direct financial contributions.
It should be mentioned that the Afghan Red Crescent Society is one of the friendly national humanitarian institutions in the country, which has supported the victims in emergencies and accidents.
