KABUL: As a result of the Russian force’s offensive, 15,500 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the past one week, the Russian state-run TASS news agency reported.
A total of 36 strikes were carried out on various targets in Ukraine over the past week, said the statement, adding that the attacks were conducted in a combined manner using precision weapons and drones.
The military centers, industrial facilities, energy installations, temporary troop gathering points, ammunition reserves, and nationalist formations, including foreign mercenaries in Ukraine, were targeted,” the agency quoted the Russian Ministry of Defense as saying.
This announcement comes amid a meeting held yesterday in Germany, where the U.S. President and leaders from several European countries emphasized their support for Ukraine.
