KABUL: The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran Ismail Baqai, rejected his country’s involvement in the drone attack on Zionist Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence.
Tehran had no role in the attack, he said, calling the reports alleging Iran’s involvement as consistent tactic and propaganda of the Israeli regime.
Previously, Iranian diplomatic officials at the United Nations indicated that the attack was carried out by Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The office of the Israeli Prime Minister reported yesterday that a drone launched from Lebanon targeted his personal residence and noted that at the time of the attack, Mr. Netanyahu and his wife were not at home.
