KABUL: The health officials of Pakistan have expressed concern over the increase in positive cases of polio in this country.
Recently, Pakistani media reported the recording of two more positive cases.
Pakistani media, citing the emergency operations agency, said that with the registration of new cases, the number of registered cases of polio in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan, and some other regions of Pakistan has reached 39 this year.
Health experts say that polio is a viral disease that can permanently disable children under the age of five.
