KANDAHAR: Kandahar’s Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock Department has reported a multifold increase in tomato exports to neighboring country.
Press head of Kandahar’s Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Mohammad Hanif Haqmal, says that 6,368 tons of tomatoes have been exported from Kandahar province to Pakistan this year, while 1,116 tons of tomatoes were exported to that country last year.
It is said that there has been an increase in pomegranates in Kandahar province this year.
