KABUL: The General Directorate of Border Police said in a statement today that its forces prevented the smuggling of seven types of semi-precious stones at Kabul International Airport.
“These seven types of stones weighed 676 grams, and it was placed in luggage carried by a woman, said the statement, adding that the stones were intended to be smuggled out of Afghanistan.
However, the General Directorate did not specify the types of stones.
The police and national army forces are actively working in border areas to prevent the smuggling of all kinds of goods.
