3,000 North Korean troops are training in Russia, U.S. official

KABUL: The U.S. officials have said that around 3,000 North Korean soldiers are currently training at Russian military bases, Reuters citing an unnamed U.S. general reported on Wednesday.

The general stated that these North Korean troops were transferred to Russia earlier this month (October).

He believes that the soldiers were transported by ship and sent to various military bases for military training.

In recent days, U.S. and Ukrainian officials have informed the media that North Korea has sent military personnel to Russia to support Moscow in its conflict with Kyiv.

This was also confirmed by the U.S. Secretary of Defense yesterday.
