MAZAR-E-SHARIF: The construction work on the road of the second phase of the industrial parks road in Mazar-e-Sharif, referred to as Emirate Road, worth 40 million Afghanis has officially commenced, the Balkh Municipality said in a statement.
According to the statement, the road with 1,400 meters long and 14 meters wide will be built from the budget of the Municipality in the sixth district of Mazar-e-Sharif, within six months.
“The project included the construction of sidewalks, drainage ditches alongside the road, flower pots, and the installation of traffic lights,” said the statement.
The completion of this road is anticipated to bring significant benefits to the residents of Mazar-e-Sharif and the local industrial sector.
