Afghan refugees living abroad should respect principles of immigration, Minister Haqqani

KABUL: The Acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriations Khalil-ur Rahman Haqqani, during his visit to Logar province, has helped a number of the heirs of martyrs and the needy and displaced families.

In a ceremony held on this occasion, Minister Haqqani said that he distributed 300,000 Afghanis to the heirs of 6 martyr families.

“Based on the decree of the Supreme Leader and Prime Minister the aids has been distributed to the heirs of martyr families,” he said, adding that tents and blankets donated by China have also been distributed to 70 returning refugees and needy families.

Calling on the Afghan refugees living in foreign countries to consider the principles of refugees, he said not to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries.

He also urged the Afghan refugees to return to their country, take advantage of the available full security and justice, and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with their Islamic system in the development of the country.

Minister Haqqani also called on the neighboring countries not to harass the Afghan refugees and give them their rights according to the principles of immigration. Meanwhile, the heirs of the martyrs and the returnees and needy families expressed their gratitude to the leadership of the Islamic Emirate.
