ASADABAD: The Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) said in a statement that health services were provided to 6,203 people in Kunar province, in the past one month.
“2,203 people received medical consultations, alongside necessary medications, 409 wounds treated, 83 women and children received vaccination to prevent various diseases and 2,514 people received essential health consultations, in the past one month,” said the statement.
Officials of the organization noted that during this period, health services were provided to 191 pregnant women, nutritious food was given to 570 malnourished children, and necessary consultations on family planning were offered to 134 women.
