KABUL: The Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement today that no one, including the Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate, is allowed to carry weapons without license in the country.

“Based on the decree No 519, issued by the esteemed Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate, no one, including Mujahidin, has the right to carry weapons without permission,” said the statement.

The statement noted: “Permits for carrying weapons are only distributed through the General Directorate of Dayaak under the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Interior across the country, and any other permits, letters, inquiries, or documents issued are considered invalid.”

Also, the statement mentioned that based on decree number 1259 issued by the esteemed Supreme Leader, a procedure for the licensing of vehicles with tinted windows and curtains has also been approved.

According to the statement, the officials of the Islamic Emirate and citizens who are seeking to use vehicles with tinted windows and curtains can obtain the necessary permits from the General Directorate of Dayaak.

This announcement comes as the personnel of the Ministry of Interior have previously taken measures to restrict the use of vehicles with tinted windows and those lacking license plates throughout the country.
