KABUL: The spokesman of the Ministry of Public Works said in a statement on Friday that the construction work on a bridge worth 29 million Afghanis has been kicked off in Samangan province.
The bridge, with a length of 36 meters and width of 6.2 meters, will be built in a foundational manner in the Khuram Sarbagh district of Samangan, said the statement, adding that the bridge, named “Mullah Ali,” was previously destroyed due to flooding in Samangan.
The Ministry of Public Works stated that the construction is expected to be completed within three months.
