Joint delegation of Emirati departments leave for Uzbekistan

KABUL: The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation said in a statement today that a joint delegation from Emirati departments left for Uzbekistan to participate in a meteorological meeting.

According to the statement, the delegation includes representatives from the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Energy and Water, Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, as well as the Ministry of State for Natural Disaster Management.

The delegation is expected to discuss collaborations in the field of meteorological equipment, modeling, and access to meteorological satellites, the statement said, adding that addressing the risks posed by natural disasters and other related issues will be part of the delegation’s agenda. Since, the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate, as one of the Central Asian countries, Uzbekistan has extended its cooperation with Afghanistan in various fields.
