Chinese fighter Jets Patrol around Taiwan for two consecutive days

KABUL: Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense has reported that approximately 35 Chinese fighter jets have been continuously patrolling around the island over the past two days.
According to a statement from the ministry, the aircraft included nuclear-capable bombers, drones, and fighter jets.
The areas targeted by the Chinese planes were identified as the southwest, southeast, and southern regions of Taiwan.
“The flights of these aircraft coincided with the maneuvers of Chinese warships, which were described as combat training exercises,” Reuters quoted Taiwan’s ministry of defenses as saying.
China has conducted numerous military drills, both naval and aerial, around Taiwan over the past year.
This latest round of military exercises aligns with the timing of the U.S. presidential elections, as the United States is considered a close ally and supporter of Taiwan.
