KABUL: The Pakistan Peace Studies Center in a report has said that 48 terrorist attacks took place in the country during the last month (October).
As a result of the attacks 100 individuals were killed and 80 others were injured in the past one month, said the report, adding that the majority of the attacks occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The Pakistan Peace Studies Center’s findings indicate that among the casualties, 53 were security personnel and 36 were civilians.
Reports suggest that Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) are among the active militant groups operating in the country.
The groups have organized and launched attacks against Pakistan due to their demands from the government.
