KABUL: The Afghan national cricket team defeated Bangladesh in one-day series in Sharjah.
Afghanistan won the first match, Bengal won the second, and Afghanistan won the third.
The Afghan cricket team, with the outstanding performance [bowling and batting] of Azmatullah Omarzai and Rahmanullah Garbaz, won the match.
The Bengal team won the toss of yesterday’s game and decided to bat. They scored 244 runs in the selected 50 overs and set a target of 245 runs for the Afghan team due to the good bowling of Mohammadullah. The country’s players completed the said goal in 49 overs and won the first cup.
