KABUL: The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation said in a statement on Wednesday that direct flights from Khost province to Saudi Arabia have been launched.
A private airline yesterday carried out the first direct flight from Khost Airport to Jeddah city the capital of Saudi Arabia, said the statement.
After this, there will be one direct flight from Khost Airport to Saudi Arabia each week.
Since, the takeover of the country by the Islamic Emirate, the expansion of flight between Afghanistan and various countries around the world has increased.
