KABUL: The Commission for the Registration of Official and Emirate Weapons has commenced its work for the first time at the 207th Al-Farooq Army Corps in Herat province.
According to a statement from the Army Corps, the procedures for the registration of Mujahidins’ weapons have been announced to the personnel of the corps in the presence of the Herat governor, his deputy, and a number of commanders of the relevant brigades.
Following the decree of the esteemed Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate, this is the first step towards the registration of the personal weapons of Mujahidin in the western zone.
Officials of the 207th Al-Farooq Corps stated that the registration of personal and Emirate weapons aims to prevent any form of weapon smuggling.
