MAZAR-E-SHARIF: Three people were arrested with 25 kilograms of hashish in Balkh province, the province’s police department said in a statement on Sunday.
The counter-narcotics and counter-crime police personnel of Balkh conducting operation discovered and seized 25 kg of hash and other kinds of drugs in Alam Khail and Baba Yousuf villages of the province, said the statement.
According to the statement, three individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.
Meanwhile, customs officials in Nangarhar province discovered 284 kilograms of detonating cords at the local customs office.
The detonating cords were placed in a vehicle, and four individuals have been arrested in connection to the case.
