Two water supply networks inaugurated in Paktika

KABUL: Two water supply projects worth over 5 million Afghanis have been inaugurated in Paktika province, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement.

The water supply projects have been implemented with the financial support of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in the Barmal and Shekeen districts of Paktika province, according to the statement.

With the completion of the projects, safe drinking water was provided to 216 families, and job opportunities were provided to dozens of individuals.
