KABUL: The Acting Minister of Interior Affairs Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, said that the Islamic Emirate seeks to establish interaction and close relations with all foreign countries in accordance with the Islamic teachings.
He made the remarks today in an international recitation ceremony held in Khost province.
The Islamic Emirate is not opposed to interaction but rather against the colonization of Afghanistan, he said, adding that no one is permitted to disregard religious laws in Afghanistan.
Speaking at the event attended by thousands, Haqqani reiterated that the principles of Islam are a fundamental guideline for the current governing system in Afghanistan, and the relationship with the international community is defined in this context.
