Thousands of liters of chemical materials used for drugs seized in Khost

KABUL: The spokesman of the Ministry of Interior Affairs Mufti Abdul Mateen Qani said today that thousands of liters of chemical substances used in drug production were discovered and seized at the Khost’s customs office.

“The seized materials include acetone, toluene, and chloride, obtained by the Drug Control Management forces in Khost,” said Qani, adding that the total amount of seized materials is 8,800 liters and 200 kilograms.

The laboratory examinations indicate that these materials are used in the production of heroin and methamphetamine. The Islamic Emirate’s forces fight against the production, sale, trafficking, and use of narcotics underway across the country.
