KABUL: The Deputy Minister of Public Works for the Railway Mawlavi Mohammad Ishaq Sahibzada and his accompanying delegation during his visit to Iran, met with Hassan Kazemi Qomi, the special envoy of the Iranian president for Afghanistan.
According to a statement from the Ministry, in the meeting the two sides discussed increasing transportation through the 3rd segment of the Khaf-Herat railway, establishing new transit routes through Afghanistan at the regional level, and enhancing bilateral cooperation. Leading a delegation Mawlavi Sahibzada left the country for Iran to seek collaboration from neighboring countries for the development of Afghanistan’s railway infrastructure.
