KABUL: The spokesman of the General Department of Physical Education and Sports, Atal Mashwani, said that Afghan medal-winning kickboxers were honored.
According to Mashwani, four kickboxers recently achieved remarkable success at the IMAO international competitions, earning two gold medals, one silver, and one bronze, which secured the title of runners-up in the tournament.
The Afghan sports team competed for 10 days in Iran with six other countries.
A ceremony which was held on this occasion was attended by the leadership of the General Department of Physical Education and Sports, including Mawlavi Ahmadullah Wasiq and Hafiz Ahmad Jan Zadran.
In the IMAO international competitions, Afghanistan secured second place, with Iran taking first and Turkey coming in third.
