10 taxi companies start operations in Kabul

KABUL: The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation said in a statement on Sunday that 10 taxi companies have started operations in the capital, Kabul.

According to the statement, the companies will operate fast passenger vehicles in the northern provinces of the country.

The newly established companies adhere to a new regulatory framework, ensuring all their vehicles meet specified standards.

The companies operate under the General Directorate of Transport Regulation in Kabul.

In recent months, the Ministry has been granting licenses for newly branded taxi services to enhance the organization and management of ground transportation in the country.
