Scores of low-quality oil tankers returned to Iran, ministry

KABUL: A total of 60 low-quality oil tankers have been returned to Iran, after assessing them as low-quality in the last week, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement on Sunday.
According to the statement, the Department of Fuel Quality Control and Monitoring of the ministry conducted inspections at Abu Nasr Farahi and Torghundi ports of Herat, identifying 60 oil tankers failing to meet quality criteria.

Also, more than 60 tankers carrying substandard fuel, were returned to Iran in the previous week, indicating the ministry’s commitment to maintaining strict quality standards to protect the national market and consumers.
