KABUL: Hezbollah of Lebanon launched one of its heaviest attacks on Israel, firing 250 rockets into the country, media reported.
The Israeli military confirmed that 250 rockets were fired from Lebanon, stating that some were intercepted while others hit various areas in Israel.
The Israeli regime acknowledged that several of its citizens were injured in the missile attacks but did not provide specific numbers.
It appears the attacks were a response to the Israeli bombardment of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, which occurred on Saturday and reportedly resulted in around 30 deaths and numerous injuries, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health. This escalation comes amid efforts by the United States to broker a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon.
