ISLAMABAD: The Afghan embassy in Islamabad, in a statement, said that it would be closed to visitors on (Monday, November 25), due to the current situation in Pakistan and around the city of Islamabad.
Recent reports indicate that thousands of supporters of Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, have staged widespread protests across the country in recent days.
To prevent protesters from entering the capital, Pakistani police have blocked roads leading to Islamabad with containers.
The demonstrators are once again calling for Khan’s release from prison through widespread protests.
