KABUL: The Royal Palace of Belgium said on Tuesday that King Philippe had accepted the credentials of Dr. Amal Jadou Shakaa, Palestinian ambassador.
The new Palestinian ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg, and the European Union, Dr. Amal Jadou Shakaa also shared on her X account that she presented her credentials to the King of Belgium.
This is the first time that the Belgian King has met with a diplomatic representative from Palestine in the country.
She previously served as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Palestine.
