Health minister laid foundation stone of two health facilities in Kabul

KABUL: The Acting Minister of Public Health Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali, laid the foundation stone of two buildings for diagnostic services worth approximately 100 million Afghani in infectious and Afghan Japan hospital, the ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the building will be equipped with two CT scan machines, a Doppler Echo, and some other diagnostic equipment and will be completed with the cooperation of JICA and the World Health Organization within three months.

To improve the health system, the Ministry of Public Health has started working on a strategy and a national policy to provide standard services in central hospitals, he said, adding necessary efforts were also underway to provide the people with essential health services in the country’s remote area.
