KABUL: The meeting of the Economic Commission of the Islamic Emirate was held with the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, on the chair, discussing CASA-1000 and Afghan-Trans projects.
The meeting also reviewed the report of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s delegation to the United Arab Emirates regarding the DP World terms of the agreement, the report of the designated delegation of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat on the CASA-1000 project, and the report of the Railway Directorate of the Ministry of Public Works on the Afghan-Trans project, according to a statement from the office of the deputy PM for economic affairs on Sunday.
The reports of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat on the Managi Dam project and a proposal for the electronic issuance of driving permits and licenses, along with other economic issues, have also been reviewed in the meeting, the statement said.
After comprehensive discussions, the report of the Railway Directorate regarding the Afghan-Trans project was approved, and relevant ministries and departments were instructed to take necessary actions in this regard.
