KABUL: At least 560 people have been detained over various crimes in Mohammad Agha district of Logar province in the past six months, provincial officials confirmed.
Police in charge of the district Col. Mullah Najmudddin Ayubi said that 563 individuals have been arrested over crimes from various parts of the district and handed over to the judicial organ for further investigation into their files.
He added that there has been a significant decrease in criminal incidents in the outskirts of the district.
According to the counter-crime manager of the province, the detainees have been arrested over murder, usurps, and drug dealing.
