Over 120 families, after expelling from Iran and Pakistan arrived home

KABUL: The Commission for the Refugees and Returnees Affairs of the Islamic Emirate said on Saturday that 124 Afghan families have returned from neighboring countries of Iran and Pakistan.

According to the report, these individuals returned after being expelled from Iran and Pakistan and entered Afghanistan via Islam Qala and Pul-e-Abreshim in Herat and Nimroz provinces from Iran and through Spin Boldak and Torkham in Kandahar and Nangarhar provinces from Pakistan.

The report indicates that 39 families returned from Pakistan, while 85 families came from Iran. Upon their arrival yesterday (Friday), the returning families were registered and provided with cash assistance by the Islamic Emirate.

This comes as the forced repatriation and voluntary return of Afghan refugees from neighboring countries continues daily.
